Established in 1999, SCYT is a leading supplier of ATV and automotive parts. At its Lugoff facility, SCYT manufacturers disc brakes and suspension parts for Honda ATVs, catalytic converters for Honda Odyssey, and motorcycle disc brakes among other parts. SCYT completed a $7 million expansion in 2003, a $4 million expansion in 2005, and a $10 million expansion in 2007.
SCYT is currently located in a 170,000 square foot facility on 50 acres in the Heritage Pointe Industrial Park. Originally built at 98,000 square feet, the company added 24,000 square feet in 2003 and 48,000 square feet in 2005.
